Wild Harvested Yemeni Frankincense – Boswellia Carterri

Introducing another hard to find product and this is the Frankincense resin from Yemen.

The resin tears are small and some are joined up in large clusters, of dark brown, yellow and some much darker pieces.
You will also find some very good tears that are still stuck to the bark and I love burning these pieces, as they produce sweet fruity woody and then resinous fragrance.

I think this one smells much like the hojari frankincense from Oman.

This Frankincense has a very rich resinous scent with fruity nuances. Just one small tear is enough and burns really well.
