Oud Hirta is an artisanal Oud distilled by a close Malaysian friend and a master oud distiller. He has been distilling oud for more than 20 years and considered a veteran.

Aquilaria Hirta tree from a region of Northern Malaysia more precisely from Terengganuare, the raw materials used for this oud comes from 20+ year old trees and the distillation of this batch was done in 2018.

Unlike the other oud oils that are brown or golden, this oil is dark green. This shows that the oil was distilled on low heat to preserve the delicate top notes.

Hirta opens with citrusy, herbaceous, basil like green, slight minty and very different from the many Malaysian Oud oils that we have in our collection. After some time on the skin it changes to green tonka, oudy all the way.
