Oud Calabria – Attar Perfume oil

Over the years I have been working to create a fresh, yet oudy perfume oil and now all that work has come to fruition, with the launch of Oud di Calabria.

Most of the top and middle note materials come from the Citrus heaven of Reggio di Calabria, a coastal province in Southern Italy.

Oud di Calabria opens with a burst of freshness from the Citrus accord that’s made from juicy Bergamot, sweet Pink Grapefruit and zesty Clementine’s. Those of you who know me, I just love Bergamot.

The middle notes continue to be crispy, yet has floral nuances from Orange blossom (Neroli) and Jasmine, also from Italy and Blue Lotus from Thailand.
The base sits on a very special Ceylon, artisanal Sandalwood oil that wraps the other materials
so beautifully.

The addition of Haitian vetiver gives Calabria sweet hay like notes. The mixture of a 2 years old Magnolia deer musk maceration, along with an oudy layer dominated by an amazing Oud accord, with vintage Sri Lankan and Laos Ouds giving this blend a fruity, leathery and Oudy dry down.

Top notes: Citrus accord of Bergamot, Lemons, Clementine’s are from Reggio di Calabria
Middle notes: Pink Pepper, Orange Blossom (Neroli), Jasmine Absolute
Base notes: Ceylon Sandalwood, Vintage Sri Lankan Oud, Laos Oud

Longevity is 4 to 6 hours on the skin and on clothes it stays for over 24 hours.
